Application for NSFAF Laptops 2025
The Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) hereby announces the availability of student laptops and thus invites all students to apply and acquire laptops at a minimal cost of N$ 3000,00. Interested students have a choice to either pay cash or take a loan with NSFAF.
Due to the limited available laptops, this initiative is based on a first-come, first-served0.
1. Who is eligible for the laptop?
This initiative is for year undergraduate NSFAF beneficiaries and self-funded students, registered at local IHLs, for undergraduate programs/courses from NQF level 6.
Students in the following categories are not eligible:
- Registered for VTC programs;
- Undergraduates registered for Certificate programs;
- Postgraduates;
- SADC/International (both undergraduate and postgraduate);
- NSFAF staff – not needy students; and
- Any student already benefited, i.e. already issued with a Laptop.
2. How do I apply for the laptop?

- Certified Namibian ID
- Authentic 2025 proof of registration
Where can a student obtain the laptop?
At NSFAF Head Office, Erf 746 Eros Road, Eros, Windhoek.
Alternatively, bulk orders from different institutions of higher learning shall be couriered and students will be notified when to collect.

Greeting am Johannes Nantinda, I once applied for a loan, i was funded in 2020 and failed the academic year. In 2021 I did not register and I registered in 2025, self-funding . Am worried since I have outstanding fees which needs to be settled . I do not know whether by me or NASFAF . Am confused whether to write the examination and be able to get my results.

What happens to the remaining loan amount after nastaf had settled all costs after the contract period. E.g from the $204 000 awarded only 154 000 was used to pay both tuition and non tuition. Where will the remaining $50 000 goes to?

Will nsfaf provide us with laptops before or after Nov/Dec exams, because we struggle to study through mobile phones and print a lot of notes that are costing us too much at times.?
