Training
Philippi provides a professional level of counselling training to church and community, using a non-intrusive, largely non directive and relational approach.
Our training facilitators are well trained and come from varied professional backgrounds, thus offering considerable experience and expertise. They all receive ongoing training, independent supervision and work according to the Code of Ethics of the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC).
Our courses seek to integrate reputable secular methods and approaches with that of the Christian faith. Our vision is to equip people in the broader community, churches and other community based organisations to bring healing and restoration in our communities, therefore our country.
Philippi Trust Namibia was the first NGO in Namibia to receive accreditation as a training provider from the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) and was at the time, only the fourth training provider in Namibia that applied for and was successful in obtaining accreditation.

My name is Selma Twapewa Shilikomwenyo 23 years old mother of two years girl, I am here to apply attend courses with your Organization in Namibia if is possible at any part of Namibia why I am ask for this work is because I am sitting in my mother house without doing anything start January 2018 till now. I was a student at International Training College – Lingua three (3) year Diploma Office Administration doing my second year but due to unpaid school fee I have to drop out because my mother she can’t afford any more to pay my school fee. I would like to volunteer in your organization because I think is a great way to give back to the community. With my skills I think I would be able to help a lot of people especially if they do not understand the language. I will be more than happy to assist them in anything they need. I would like to know if your institute offers a second intake for this year or perhaps, when do i apply for next year intake?. I would like to apply for national Certificate in Counseling. I would also like to know about the fees and registration process or requirements for this specific course.

My name is Shikongo Bonifasia, I would like to ask because I was told that, this course don’t ask for tuition fees or the government pays for all the tuitions. I want to know how, do we have to pay for ourselves or how.
