NIMT September 2020 Special Trainee Application Form (Closed)
September intake is now opened for new students or applicants who wish to study with the Namibian Institute of Mining and Technology (NIMT)
General Information & Application Fees
Privately funded Candidates must pay their training fees of N$30,000.00 on 9th November 2020.
Should the Special Trainee require Accommodation/Transport from NIMT, an additional amount of N$6,600.00 has to be paid upon registration.
Government Loan Assistance Trainee must pay their registration fee of N$3,500.00 on 9th November 2020.
Should the Special Trainee require Accommodation/Transport from NIMT, an additional amount of N$6,600.00 has to be paid upon registration.
Government Loan Assistance Trainee must apply online for the NSFAF loan at https://highintellects.com/nsfaf-application/ or via the official website www.nsfaf.na in order to pay their part of the training costs.
(Pleasee note: The NSFAF loan covers pnly the training fees and NEITHER the registration fee nor the accommodation/transport provided by NIMT)
Please attach the NSFAF acknowledgement letter to the application form.
The under-mentioned trades are offered in Arandis, Tsumeb and Keetmanshoop.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Before applying, applicants must provide the following documents
ID Document
Full birth certificate
School-leaving certificate/report
Any other qualifications;
Driver’s Licence – if available;
ID doccuments of both parents;
Latest payslips of both parents or pensioner cards;
Police declaration by parents if they are unemployed;
Copy of death certificate, if one or both parents are deaceased;
Any other relevant document of the applicant.
NIMT does not provide Pocket Money to trainees!
Closing date for Applications: 13th October 2020
Special Trainees of all NIMT campuses will start on the announced date.
NOTE: NO REFUNDS WILL BE DONE IF A TRAINEE STOPS HIS/HER TRAINING OR HAS TO BE EXPELLED, BECAUSE OF VALID REASONS
