Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) 2021 Disbursement Information
NSFAF 2021 INTAKE UPDATE
The Fund, wish to inform all continuing students, that it has started with payment process of the 2021 Tuition Fees to Institutions of Higher Learning.
Equally so, the payment of non-tuition fees has also started. An amount of N$ 5, 000 maximum is expected to be paid in the first round of payment while the remaining amounts of non-tuition fees will be made available upon availability of funds from Treasury.
NOTE:
Kindly take note that we do not divulge payment related information with third parties, payments are processed on a weekly basis and your patience in this regard is highly appreciated.
We, therefore, remind students to spend disbursed non-tuition fees on activities supporting academic endeavors

I’m a first year student at the University of Namibia and i have applied for the fund. My NASFAF status is still showing ( pending approval v) , which I don’t know what it mean. I’m also not yet asked to upload my proof of registration. What should i do?

Hi will NASFAF finish paying both non tuition and school fees for first year students this year. Because some of us are renting and need to settle our debts but we still haven’t received any funds.

Is there a possibility of a student to be rejected even after receiving the final award letter??
Yes
Why do they have to do that? will they inform a student that u are rejected or how do a student knows that um rejected..cos we are still waiting for our fund for 2021

So it wasn’t true when you said nasfaf will pay all tuition fees and non tuition fees for the first year students this year but you are closing tomorrow and we didn’t yet received ours now we’re not going for holidays since we have made up an agreement with the rental owners that we will pay once nasfaf funds us…… 😢😭😭

No, applications are ongoing. Payment decisions are made by the management only.
