Welwitchia Health Training Centre is a registered private higher education institution in Namibia with a special focus on Health, Social, and Management Sciences. The Centre is inviting applications for September intake into the below mentioned programmes.

Available Courses for the September 2020 Intake – Welwitchia University

Here are the programmes available for September 2020 intake

(i) Bachelor of Nursing Science – 4 Years Full time

Requirements A candidate who wishes to enroll for the degree program within the Clara Barton School of Nursing, must comply with the following admission criteria: • Must have obtained at least 25 points in Six (6) subjects and a D in English according to the APS scale. • Must have at least two science subjects (Mathematics, Physical Science, Development Studies) including Biology • Enrolled nurses with more than a year of working experience may apply with minimum 22 points and an E symbol in English at Grade 12 level. • Must pass the entry test to gain final admission Deadline for applications: 03 July 2020 Campuses Offering the BSc Nursing Science

(ii) Certificate in Enrolled Nursing/Midwifery – 2 Years Full time

Requirements A candidate who wishes to enroll for the certificate program within the Clara Barton School of Nursing, must comply with the following admission criteria: • Must have obtained at least 22 points in Six (6) subjects and an E in English according to the APS scale. • Must pass the entry test to gain final admission. (iii) Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences – 2 Years Full time

Requirements A candidate who wishes to enroll for the Diploma in Environmental Health Science, must comply with the following admission criteria: • Minimum of 23 Points in Six (6) Subjects, (Mathematics & Physical Science is a must). • Must be at least 18 years of age • Must have obtained a minimum symbol E in English at Grade 12 level. • Must pass the entry test to gain final admission Deadline for applications: 10 July 2020 Campuses Offering the Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences Windhoek

(iv) Postgraduate Diploma in Community Health Nursing – 1 Year Full time/part time

(v) Pharmacist’s Assistant Certificate – 2 years Full time

All candidates must be at least 18 years of age. Applicant may fill in an online Application form or physical application form obtained at any of our Campuses. The Application form will also be available in pdf on our website (www.welwtchia.com.na/apply) Application fee for all courses is N$ 230.00 All foreign qualifications must be validated by the NQA. 2. Although there is no application fee, a non-refundable N$230 Application fee is payable into any of our bank accounts.

4. Depending on your field of study, some fields may not be applicable to you. The fields that are compulsory for all prospective students are marked with an asterix (*).
5. This form will be processed electronically. It is in your own interest to complete it correctly. Incomplete or incorrect information may lead to delays and/or rejection of application.
